I'm almost there...

Little bug is just a pinch away from sitting up. She will do it for a minute, and by that I mean I can count to 30 slow.

So I thought how about some sitting pics.

She crashes right too. She doesn't just tip, she pulls into a pre-crawl. See how happy she when she lands.

She had her 9 month check up, and her heart check up this week. This baby girl is in 21% tile for height, 16% tile for weight and this is on a normal baby chart too. Baby girl is growing well! My part time job is doctors visits, but we get a heart visit break until April. That will be nice since she's picking up a kidney specialist, and she will be visiting the Eye, and Ear doctor at one too.

She's such a Cutie Pie!

About This Blog-

This blog is mostly about Leighton, and how she has changed our family. We were blessed with our little Leighton in 2011. We didn't know she had a little something extra before her birth. She was born with an extra 21st chromosome. We didn't know it at the time, but she was going to change our lives as most babies do, for the better. This is just a day to day of what life is like having a daughter, or sibling with Down syndrome. It's truthfully in essence the same, if not better as our life before we had her. We do the same things, but some how she makes us better, and happier people. She has become the center of our family. We heard about a boy in college who also had Trisomy 21 wearing a shirt that said High on Chromosomes, and I decided that's what I want Leighton to feel. So I named her blog after that shirt. I want her to feel an extra chromosome is nothing to be ashamed of (it's something she can't change, and you may not believe it, but I wouldn't want that anyway). It's always going to be a part of her. I want her to be proud of it.
