Sisters.

It's a good thing this little girl has siblings. I can get a lot of pictures like these on my own,

But getting one like this...

Looks a lot like this behind the scenes.

Plus what's better then doing this?

Not much (she loves to play with her sisters long beautiful hair). I start my photography class tonight. I know nothing about taking pictures or running my camera. Poor resolution? What does that even mean? Well, I will find out tonight, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to be totally embarrassed by the fact that I didn't know.

Oh so adorable!!! Older siblings are the best thing in the world for our kiddos! Ella absolutely adores her big "bubba!"

About This Blog-

This blog is mostly about Leighton, and how she has changed our family. We were blessed with our little Leighton in 2011. We didn't know she had a little something extra before her birth. She was born with an extra 21st chromosome. We didn't know it at the time, but she was going to change our lives as most babies do, for the better. This is just a day to day of what life is like having a daughter, or sibling with Down syndrome. It's truthfully in essence the same, if not better as our life before we had her. We do the same things, but some how she makes us better, and happier people. She has become the center of our family. We heard about a boy in college who also had Trisomy 21 wearing a shirt that said High on Chromosomes, and I decided that's what I want Leighton to feel. So I named her blog after that shirt. I want her to feel an extra chromosome is nothing to be ashamed of (it's something she can't change, and you may not believe it, but I wouldn't want that anyway). It's always going to be a part of her. I want her to be proud of it.
