Fact or Fiction?

I was digging through Leighton's socks. Yes, I'm still going to try and get her to keep some socks on. She has waged war on feet covers, since the weather turned cold. Anyway this is what I came up with..

So I started contemplating the mysteries of life (because I'm deep like that), and I came to the conclusion that a sock monster truly must exist!

Eek and the scariest part of all is....

She lives with me. Don't worry She's one of those cute kind of Monsters (like Elmo.
But seriously where do the socks go?

Yep, We all have our own sock monster. They are really busy. I don't know one person that doesn't have their own personal sock monster. (except maybe Dad)

About This Blog-

This blog is mostly about Leighton, and how she has changed our family. We were blessed with our little Leighton in 2011. We didn't know she had a little something extra before her birth. She was born with an extra 21st chromosome. We didn't know it at the time, but she was going to change our lives as most babies do, for the better. This is just a day to day of what life is like having a daughter, or sibling with Down syndrome. It's truthfully in essence the same, if not better as our life before we had her. We do the same things, but some how she makes us better, and happier people. She has become the center of our family. We heard about a boy in college who also had Trisomy 21 wearing a shirt that said High on Chromosomes, and I decided that's what I want Leighton to feel. So I named her blog after that shirt. I want her to feel an extra chromosome is nothing to be ashamed of (it's something she can't change, and you may not believe it, but I wouldn't want that anyway). It's always going to be a part of her. I want her to be proud of it.
